IRST stands for Infra-Red Imaging System-Tail Missile. It is a thrust-vectored, short-range missile developed by Germany, Greece, Italy, Norway, and Sweden. It uses a mu-synthesis controller for the lateral and the roll controllers which was scheduled based on the dynamic pressure. It had a successful test flight in 2000.
