MCLAWS Simulink Model

The MCLAWS Simulink model has 91 states. Key elements of the attitude command, SAS, and feedback loops are represented by transfer functions. This included a 36-state linear bare airframe model, SAS servoactuators, pitch, roll, yaw, collective channels. Pade approximations were used for the sensor phase lag. The airframe model include fuselage dynamics, rotor flapping, rotor lead-lag, engine/governor/fuel system dynamics, inflow, and aerodynamic phase lag.

The model was valid for 0.5-40 rad/s. A \(1\sigma\) confidence bound was used for each identified parameter for robustness. The actuators used 2nd-order dynamics in a state-space form.
