The dimensions of MIMO state space models increase with the number of inputs and outputs. The number of columns in the B, C, and D matrix of a MIMO model is the number of inputs, and the number of rows in a B, C, and D matrix of a MIMO model is the number of outputs. The dimensions of the A matrix are the number of states in the mode.
