Bandwidth

Bandwidth is the maximum frequency that a control system can track a sinusoidal input satisfactorily. It can be thought of as a frequency domain measure of response speed.

[[Frequency Domain System Characteristics]]
[[Available Bandwidth]] – closed-loop bandwidth is limited due to modeled and unmodeled uncertainty.
[[Lateral Translation Helicopter Task]] – bandwidth approximately the natural frequency of the task, (around 3 rad/s for aggressive closed-loop tasks)
State-Space Estimators – you can specify bandwidth by placing the poles as needed
[[Radar Pulse Bandwidth]] – bandwidth determines radar range accuracy.
[[Integral Control]] – has a stabilizing slope throughout the entire bandwidth
[[Closed-loop Synchronous Buck Converter]] – a large crossover frequency gives a large bandwidth of the controller.
[[Capacity of Optical Communication Systems]] – uses bandwidth as a multiplier
[[Superaugmented Aircraft]] – crossover frequency defines the bandwidth of the system
